The Parks & Recreation Department currently maintains 5 parks.  City park land totals nearly 37 acres.  Open-air shelters with restrooms are available at each park for public use.  The shelters can be rented and reserved.  Shelters are great for family reunions, class reunions, small wedding receptions, and birthday parties.

The Belle Plaine Partners for Beautification and the City of Belle Plaine are working together to bring the citizens of Belle Paline another park in the Spring of 2012: Beautiful Plaines Prarie Park.
